Dear Parents and Players,
As we begin the 61st season of Little League baseball here in Burlington, on behalf of the Burlington Little League Board, I’d like to welcome all the new and returning families. Our League is a volunteer-based organization; and we rely upon volunteers and sponsors to allow the League to operate. I can’t thank everyone enough for taking the time out of their already busy schedules to help out wherever is needed.
We’re doing this all for the kids. Creating those memories for them to reminisce about later in life - their first homerun, the three-hit game, the game saving catch, or that friend they made during T-ball season. The coaches will teach them the fundamentals and all about the game itself. Some kids will be more competitive, some just want the after-game snack. They will succeed and they will fail. That’s what makes baseball a great game. Remember that as parents when you are watching these games. Cheer positively for both teams, sit back, and enjoy.
Our League is made up of five divisions: T-ball, Rookie, Minors, Majors, and Intermediate - and comprised of 395 players that make up 34 teams throughout. You will find games being played six days a week (Mon-Sat) down at the Hintz complex or over at Branen Field. Our newest division, Intermediate, also known as 50/70, will play their home games on the Juniors field at Hintz.
Please look over our website to find additional information, such as game schedules, League updates, and more. You'll also find information on our sponsors under the "Sponsors" tab. Please support our local businesses that help support our League. You can also follow us on our Facebook page - Burlington Little League.
The fields are ready, concession stands are stocked, and the umps are geared up. It’s time to get the kids down to the fields. Play ball!
See everyone at the park,
Burlington Little League President
